MGXTW Mining Central Tube Cable
Product Overview
MGXTW cable places 250 µm fibers into a central loose tube of high-modulus material filled with water-blocking compound. A layer of corrugated coated steel tape (PSP) is applied longitudinally over the tube, with water-swellable material between tape and tube to keep the cable compact and longitudinally water-tight. Two parallel steel wires are placed on both sides and a flame-retardant sheath is extruded. The compact central-tube construction suits underground mine galleries where a small diameter and flame retardancy are both required.
